Seawalls
Built for Erosion Control, Stability & Long-Term Protection
If your shoreline is eroding or your property is at risk, a seawall is what protects it.
Seawalls need to handle constant water exposure, shifting ground, and long-term environmental pressure. When they’re not built properly, they fail—and the damage can be significant.
Victoria Stonescape specializes in seawall construction across Southern Vancouver Island, taking on projects that require careful planning, the right equipment, and experience working in challenging shoreline conditions.

Seawall Construction in Victoria, BC
We design and build seawalls that protect your property from erosion, wave action, and long-term shoreline movement.
Every project starts with understanding your site conditions—soil, slope, water exposure, and access—so the structure is built to perform, not just look finished.
From excavation to final construction, we focus on structural stability, drainage, and long-term durability.

What We Handle

Why Choose Victoria Stonescape for Seawall Construction
Seawall projects aren’t simple—and not every contractor is equipped to take them on.

We bring the equipment, experience, and problem-solving approach needed to complete projects that require more than a basic install.
✓ Experience working in coastal and shoreline environments
✓ Equipment capable of handling difficult access and terrain
✓ Focus on structural stability, drainage, and long-term performance
✓ Ability to take on complex projects others may avoid

Example Project: Cliffside Seawall Construction
One of our recent seawall projects involved stabilizing a failing shoreline along a steep cliffside.
Access to the site was extremely limited—everything had to be transported by barge, including equipment, materials, and every load of soil removed during excavation.
What started as an unstable slope with loose soil, falling trees, and ongoing erosion is now a fully stabilized shoreline supported by an engineered boulder wall.
Beyond improving the property itself, this project also made the public beach access below safer for the surrounding community.
Projects like this require careful planning, patience, and precision at every stage—from excavation and material handling to final placement and structural stability.
We build seawalls to reclaim and protect coastal land.
